An 18-year-old followed a fugitive truck driver after an accident during her driver’s license test in Swabia. The police announced on Tuesday that the 39-year-old damaged the bonnet of the driving school car with his load when he reversed during road construction work on the federal highway 308 in Sonthofen (Oberallgäu district).
A dispute broke out between the driving instructor and the truck driver, after which he drove away from the scene of the accident. The learner driver then took up the pursuit while her teacher alerted the police. Officers found the truck driver in a parking lot. Since there had been verbal arguments between the parties involved before and during the recording of the accident, both sides reported each other for insults. It was initially unclear whether the learner driver passed the driving test.
