The Eurovision Song Contest should actually take place in Ukraine next year. But nobody knows what the security situation will be like by then. The competition will therefore take place much further west.
Second-placed Great Britain will host the Eurovision Song Contest next year in place of this year’s ESC winner Ukraine.
