Solana debut According to the report, the network has more than 1,900 block-producing nodes, with nearly 1,688 (88.14%) of these nodes operated by independent entities.
Solana said the integrity and strength of validators are critical to the long-term health of the ecosystem. which previously Networks face a lack of decentralization and expensive monitoring hardware.
The new report also highlights that the network has over 3,400 validators on six different continents.
The report also shows how network activity has increased in the past year. On average, the network has 95 new consensus nodes and 99 RPC nodes joined monthly since June of last year.
However, the report comes in the wake of last week’s hack that saw approximately $5.2 million Solana (SOL) hacked from more than 8,000 wallets, including Phantom, Slope and Trust.
The news caused the industry to shake. And users have to stop using their hot wallets and switch to cold storage wallets for extra security.
