Software start-up Staffbase has raised an additional EUR 106 million from investors to fuel its international growth. The sponsors include investors General Atlantic and Insight Partners, the company, which was founded in 2014, announced. According to the information, Staffbase is now valued at more than one billion euros. In the start-up scene, such companies are referred to as “unicorns”. The Chemnitz-based company offers companies a platform and an app for employee communication. It is now used by more than 2,000 companies with around 13 million employees, it said. The number of employees at the 14 locations worldwide has increased to more than 600.
