software-architektur.tv: Functional programming in practice

No side effects, simple testing, the correctness of the programs can even be proven – all advantages of functional programming. It has always played a role in academia, but it is also becoming increasingly popular in industry. At the same time, it seems aloof and difficult to understand. In this episode, Eberhard Wolff talks to Lars Hupel and Isabel Wingen about how they benefit from functional programming in everyday project work, what experiences they have made and how you can start with this concept yourself.
