Round floor plan, coarse exposed concrete, dark shingles above that extend to the flat roof. At the beginning of the 1970s, the city of Rosenheim wanted to treat itself to something representative, a triple hall for sports and schools. The occupancy plan for the gym is still hanging in the display case. But no one is doing sports in the large hall at the moment. It is used as refugee accommodation: a somewhat tattered Ukrainian flag hanging on one of the three flagpoles is evidence of this. Two young people are crouching underneath and typing on their cell phones. The middle school students over on their school sports field are separated from the hall by a construction fence. Soon, according to the town hall, a bus will be coming again.
