Snowstorm on the east coast: US President Biden is stuck in Air Force One

The emergency services at Joint Base Andrews in the US state of Maryland had to fight quite hard to get the vehicle up the stairs to “Air Force One”. Because the weather gave US President Joe Biden a stormy reception when he returned to Washington DC by plane on Monday. A winter storm with heavy snowfall and violent winds blew Biden and his entourage cold in the face. The national weather service warned of thunderstorms in the region and up to 30 centimeters of wet snow per hour. Because of the bad weather, the federal government offices in Washington had to be closed. Dozens of schools in the region canceled classes or postponed the start of school. The authorities warned of possible power outages. The Mayoress of Washington declared a snow emergency.
