Snowstorm doesn’t stop them: US couple marries in the middle of the blizzard (video)

This couple also didn’t let a heavy snowstorm stop them from getting married on Saturday. A blizzard caused 62 centimeters of fresh snow in Providence in the US state of Rhode Island – it was the fourth heaviest snowstorm in the history of the city. Sally Faulkner and Adam Irujo didn’t care about the disastrous weather. The two fought their way through the masses of snow to the registry office – they are obviously used to resistance. SB ADAM IRUJO: Oh, we met five years ago and it’s been kind of crazy ever since, all the time. Friends and family didn’t want to miss the all-white wedding either. Adam’s father performed the marriage ceremony. In the middle of the snow, the couple said yes. SB MANUEL IRUJO: I now pronounce you husband and wife. Adam, you may kiss the bride. On Sunday there was another real celebration – a bit more formal and of course indoors. The two of them will probably never forget their wedding in the snowstorm.
