Snow and polar vortices: why winter is coming back – Knowledge

It is sometimes bewitched with the polar vortex. For most of the winter, the wind system spinning high in the atmosphere over the Arctic was unusually strong, which may have contributed to the near-absent winter. On the other hand, the vortex has now collapsed particularly early – and is giving Europe and Germany a late onset of winter, just in time for the beginning of April, when nobody can really use it, especially not in agriculture.
