Sniffer dogs detected no bedbugs on trams and buses

La Tam is clear, there are no bedbugs on buses and trams in Montpellier (Hérault). On Thursday, the structure in charge of transport in the Hérault capital and the metropolis called in a company specializing in the fight against harmful species, Antigone Service, a subsidiary of the Nicollin group.

Three sniffer dogs inspected “a sample of buses and tram trains representative of the park”, at each of the two Tam depots. And the doggies detected “no bedbugs during the entire operation”.

La Tam, however, recalls that “bus and tram cleaning operations are carried out on a daily basis, in particular through the use of fungicidal and disinfectant products. In addition, a systematic disinfestation treatment takes place every six months, before summer and before winter, on board all vehicles.
