This is an unusual auction that will be held from June 27 to 30. The SNCF is indeed auctioning twelve locomotives in working order, in partnership with Agorastore, a specialist in the online auction of public goods.
In all, twelve locomotives are to be acquired and intended to supply the secondary, and very rare, market of second-hand railway products. “Regarding the upset prices, it will take between 1,294,868 euros and 1,365,849 euros for each of these locomotives depending on the characteristics”, indicates, with precision, the press release from Agorastore.
Unfortunately for all rail fans, this sale is for professionals only. Good after, a locomotive in his garden, it is not necessarily very useful.
