Small theater hair – violin meets piano – Ebersberg

If you are thirsty for culture on this Sunday, September 26th after the polls, you should make your way to the Small Theater in Haar. This is where the Vaterstetten Town Hall Concerts present a special encounter at 6.30 p.m.: the violinist Miriam Contzen and the pianist Bernd Glemser perform as a duo. They play sonatas for violin and piano by Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Ludwig van Beethoven and Richard Strauss. Miriam Contzen is a German-Japanese violinist who is highly valued by the international music world as a soloist, chamber musician, festival director and professor of the violin. Among the many awards for her CD recordings is the Echo-Klassik. In 2016 Contzen was appointed professor for violin at the Berlin University of the Arts. Bernd Glemser began his brilliant career at a young age: while still studying, he won a number of prizes at the most important competitions, seventeen of them in a row. The announcement states: “His breathtaking virtuosity is paired with the highest poetic sensitivity, and his profound interpretations, individual and far removed from any routine, will be remembered for a long time.” Tickets for this concert (with intermission) can be bought at the parish library in Vaterstetten, at Papeterie Löntz, at München-Ticket or at (089) 54818181. There is no box office.
