Slowdowns on the roads of Ile-de-France to be expected this weekend, according to Bison Futé

Last weekend for some, first weekend for others. From Friday, all of France is on vacation for the spring break. But don’t worry, this spring crossover shouldn’t bottle up the highways of France.

According to the forecasts of Bison futé, only slowdowns in Ile-de-France are to be expected on Friday and Saturday in the direction of departures, as well as in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes on Saturday in the direction of returns.

Green Sunday

For the rest of France, the whole weekend is classified as green. “Holidaymakers take their time to leave and do not return at the last minute. This dispersion in time and space makes it possible to limit phenomena of congestion on the roads”, explains Bison futé.

To avoid traffic jams in Ile-de-France on Friday, road forecasters advise you to leave before 2 p.m., and before 8 a.m. on Saturday. In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, avoid the A7 motorway between Orange and Lyon from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, do what you please, but don’t uncover yourself from a wire!
