Slavoj Žižek’s lecture “Discomfort in Nature” in Berlin – Culture

Maybe you have to see Slavoj Žižek live to understand how difficult it is to understand him. His thoughts, to paraphrase American car rear-view mirrors, sometimes seem further away from you than they are. But then again it’s the other way around. On Thursday evening he was a guest in Berlin with a lecture, namely at the “ici”, the Berlin Institute for Cultural Inquiry, and although he speaks good German, as he proved to the audience at the beginning of his greeting, he had to, at the behest of the organizers , switch to English for his presentation. Good, but the lecture also took place in Berlin, where English is now the national language.
