Already three recruits have joined PSG at the start of the summer.

Manuel Ugarte is the third rookie of the summer made official this Friday by Paris Saint-Germain. The 22-year-old midfielder, who arrived from Benfica, is the first with compensation on the transfer, after the successive reinforcements of Milan Skriniar and Marco Asensio, one and the other at the end of the contract respectively at the Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

5-year contracts for Skriniar and Ugarte, three for Asensio

Skriniar and Ugarte signed long contracts of five years, expiring on June 30, 2028, against three years, until 2026, in the Spanish attacking midfielder. Slovak defender Milan Skriniar is the three who will justify the biggest salary, estimated close to 9 million euros per season, plus 2 million bonuses. Marco Asensio approaches it with annual emoluments estimated at 8 million euros and 2 million which are added in possible bonuses.

PSG’s wage bill has fallen considerably

As for Manuel Ugarte, the youngest (22 years old) and the least experienced, he will be around 3 million euros per season. In terms of his payroll, the PSG world champion last season, saw his melt significantly with the departures of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos. It could decrease further if Kylian Mbappé, the highest paid member of the team, must also leave.
