For the sixth time in seven days, the Palace of Versailles has been evacuated since 11:50 a.m. this Saturday, October 21 following a bomb threat, BFMTV learned from a police source.

“For security reasons, the Palace of Versailles is evacuating visitors and will reopen as soon as the checks have been carried out. We thank you for your understanding,” indicates the palace on X.

Nearly 15,000 people visit the former royal domain every day.
