The American animated series South Park to be continued. Six new seasons should be created by 2027, plus 14 films from the world of Cartman, Kenny and Co. The first sequel should be released this year. This is reported by the Bloomberg agency. The media group ViacomCBS, which owns the rights to the series, is also planning South ParkVideo game. The creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker brings in the new contract over 900 million dollars. It is one of the most lucrative degrees in television history.
The new series runs in the USA as usual on the Comedy Central station. However, the spin-off films are produced exclusively for the Paramount + streaming service. The service has not yet achieved the charisma of Netflix and Disney + in the US and should be supported by the South Park– Continuations will be more attractive. In Germany, the new episodes will probably be seen on Sky. Just a few days ago, the pay TV broadcaster announced that it would be offering Paramount + programming in this country in the coming year.
