The first shows “Focal Point: Escalation in the Middle East” on October 9th.

After the attack on Israel, the TV stations want to provide information about the current situation. These special programs are shown.

The TV stations will also be reporting on the current escalation of violence this Monday (October 9th). Middle East and change the program for this. Among other things, the first will bring a “Brennpunkt” edition.

“Focus point: escalation in the Middle East”

From 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., presenter Susanne Glass (53) will present “Focal Point: Escalation in the Middle East.” After Hamas’ attack on Israel and the ongoing fighting in the region, the program is expected to address the following questions, according to the announcement: “How is the USA reacting? What role does Iran’s support play for Hamas?” There will also be current reports and assessments of the war in the Middle East. The film “Karla, Rosalie and the Hole in the Wall” follows at 8:30 p.m.

“ZDF special – Escalation in the Middle East”

ZDF will show “ZDF special – Escalation in the Middle East” from 7:20 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. and reports on day three since Hamas launched its attacks on Israel. The program also provides information about the background to the current escalation of violence in the Middle East. The program continues with the consumer program “Wiso” from 7:40 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and the film “The Dead from Lake Constance – The Night Alb” from 8:15 p.m.

RTL special “War against Israel – The country strikes back”

Like the station, RTL will also report on the dramatic situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip in the evening at X has announced. “From 8:15 p.m., presenter Roberta Bieling will provide information about the situation in the conflict area in the 15-minute #RTLAktuell special ‘War against Israel – The country strikes back’,” it says. The new Monday edition “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” will therefore apparently be postponed to 8:30 p.m.

ntv special “Escalation in the Middle East”

NTV will also report extensively on the conflict this Monday. At X the broadcaster announces: “We are analyzing the situation with various experts, correspondents on site and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.” Several news specials “Escalation in the Middle East” (5:30 p.m., 6:35 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:10 p.m., 10:30 p.m.) are planned.
