Although Singles’ Day is not as well known across Germany as Black Friday, for example, the annual event is the largest shopping event in the world – especially in China, where the bargain day was first launched on 11/11/2009 and since then (you already guessed it) takes place every year on November 11th, also in 2021. In fact, the event sees itself as a counterpart to Valentine’s Day and is dedicated to all those singles who simply want to give themselves gifts with the help of the many promotions and discounts . You’d think that Amazon wouldn’t let the world’s biggest shopping event slip its way. But far from it: In fact, the internet giant prefers to concentrate on Black Friday, which takes place on November 26, 2021, and Cyber Monday on November 29, 2021. In order to prepare its customers for the upcoming bargain hunt, the online retailer is already advertising early offers – they should bridge the time until the actual shopping weekend and help you do your first Christmas shopping. According to the motto: “Shop earlier, relax earlier”.
