With Peter Maffay as a star guest: The new episodes of “Sing meine Song” start at the end of April 2024 on VOX.
Peter Maffay as a one-time guest star
So continuity in the position of moderator. But there is also something new in the new season. For the first time in the history of “Sing my Song” a star guest is only there for one episode. For this purpose, VOX has hired a real top-class person: Peter Maffay (74) is doing the honors for an issue. The broadcaster had already announced this in mid-February.
“I’m happy – it will be exciting,” says Peter Maffay. The show is a new experience for the veteran: “I’ve never experienced anything like this in my long career! This will be a first for me and I’m happy that they’re taking me on their musical journey for one evening,” VOX quotes him.
Newbies only: These stars are in season 11
The other candidates who will adapt to Maffay’s songs have also been decided for a long time. Unlike previous seasons, only newcomers are taking part in this round.
Included are singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko (38), Juli frontwoman Eva Briegel (45), soul singer Joy Denalane (50), rapper Eko Fresh (40), Broilers frontman Sammy Amara (45) and pop singer Emilio (27).
