According to media reports, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is being treated for leukemia in a hospital, where he started chemotherapy. Initially, heart problems were reported.

According to media reports, Silvio Berlusconi, former Italian Prime Minister, is being treated in hospital for leukemia. The 86-year-old has already started chemotherapy for blood cancer, the Ansa news agency reported on Thursday, citing Berlusconi’s environment. The doctors gave him the first dose on Wednesday evening. The newspaper “Corriere della Sera” had previously reported on leukemia.

Silvio Berlusconi is being treated in a Milan hospital

The ex-prime minister was admitted to the San Raffaele clinic in Milan on Wednesday. Initially, there was talk of cardiovascular and respiratory problems. Berlusconi is in intensive care. Between 1994 and 2011, the right-wing populist politician was Prime Minister of Italy four times.
