Silver medal for the French 4x100m at the Munich Euro

The French 4x100m, made up of Mickaël Zeze, Pablo Mateo, Ryan Zeze and Jimmy Vicaut took second place in the final on Sunday in Munich in 37”94 (5th time in the history of the French 4x100m) behind the big British favorites Jeremiah Azu, Zharnel Hughes, Jona Efoloko and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake (37”67, Championship record). The Poles are bronze medalists in 38”15.

This is the ninth French medal of these European Championships, and the first podium for the 4×100 m blue since the 2016 European Championships (silver, already).

The Italian 4×100 m, Olympic champion a year ago in Tokyo, was released in the semi-finals.
