This week, employee representatives at Siemens are publishing podcasts for employees under #NextSiemens. After the major spin-offs in recent years, the big question is now: What should Siemens actually be in the future? A digital company? A second SAP? In a joint video interview, General Works Council chief Birgit Steinborn and IG Metall chief cashier Jürgen Kerner say what is important to them: They want to have more of a say in the company in the future – and not just when the job cuts are already on the table.
