Magician Roy Horn died in May 2020 as a result of a corona infection, and his partner Siegfried Fischbacher died of pancreatic cancer in early 2021. The duo rose to superstardom with their white tigers in the 1970s. At that time, the two appeared almost every day on the show “Lido de Paris” – and thus helped the gambling city to new fame.
They built their private retreat in the Las Vegas desert: a spectacular property called “Little Bavaria”, which combined several villas, pool areas and open spaces for their animals on 40 hectares. But now the whole complex is about to fall victim to the wrecking ball. That’s what the Las Vegas City Council decided. An apartment complex with 334 residential units is to be built on the spacious property. Siegfried and Roy’s inventory and belongings have already been auctioned off on behalf of an estate executor.
