A sports car driver left the road with his car and ended up in oncoming traffic. The balance sheet: five injured and high property damage.

On a federal road in Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia, five people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars, two of them seriously. On the feeder road to Autobahn 45, a 25-year-old sports car driver left the road with his car on Saturday evening and got into oncoming traffic, the police said. There he crashed into the car of a 51-year-old. According to the police, the 25-year-old was slightly injured and his 25-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The 51-year-old and a 40-year-old passenger were also slightly injured, the man’s 30-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries.

Police seized the driver’s car and driver’s license

As the police also announced, the 25-year-old had apparently accelerated too much in a curve. There was property damage of around 300,000 euros. Photos from the scene of the accident show the destroyed Lamborghini. The police seized the 25-year-old’s sports car and driver’s license.
