The Apple TV+ streaming service has renewed the comedy series Shrinking, starring Harrison Ford and Jason Segel.

The comedy series “Shrinking” with Jason Segel (43) and superstar Harrison Ford (80) gets a second season. Even before the end of the premiere edition, the streaming service Apple TV + announced the extension. “Shrinking” debuted on January 27, 2023, with the season one finale expected on March 24.

That’s what “Shrinking” is about

After the accidental death of his wife, grieving therapist Jimmy Laird (Segel) resorts to unconventional means that violate ethical principles: Jimmy tells his patients the complete, unfiltered truth and what he really thinks about them. This results in tremendous upheavals in his and his patients’ lives. Meanwhile, Jimmy’s older fellow therapist, Dr. Paul Rhoades (Ford) suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

The series creators of “Shrinking” are the main actor Segel, who most of you should know as Marshall Eriksen from the cult sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”, as well as “Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein (42) and “Ted Lasso”-Co -Series creator Bill Lawrence (54). After the western series “1923”, which only started in December last year, “Shrinking” is only the second series leading role in the long career of Hollywood legend Ford.
