Cat Janice’s story is currently touching music fans all over the world. The American singer will die soon. A malignant brain tumor can no longer be treated, and Janice has been living in the hospice for a few days. Cancer-stricken singer goes viral with final song for her son

Her ordeal began in November 2021 when Janice felt a lump in her neck. At first she didn’t think anything of it. She had just survived a Covid illness and her lymph nodes were very swollen anyway, she said in a Tiktok video in 2022. But in March 2022, while she was studying for an exam and rubbing her neck out of nervousness, she noticed that the lump was still there. Bigger than before, says the 31-year-old and very hard. It later turned out that the swelling she felt was a tumor in the neck muscle.

Her doctors diagnosed sarcoma, a rare cancerous tumor that develops in bones or soft tissue, such as the brain, cartilage or tendons. The doctors assured her that they would do everything they could, but the prognosis didn’t look good. She underwent radiation and chemotherapy and had the lump in her neck surgically removed. But in May 2023, her doctors discovered that the cancer was back – and had spread to her lungs.
