Barbara Schirin Davidavičius, known as Shirin David, has one condition: she will not name any names. The 26-year-old rapper has had too many bad experiences with this – hostility, threats. Also privately. You are concerned with structural problems in German rap and in society. Not about individuals. David has become very famous as a YouTuber – 2.8 million subscribers. On Instagram, she should soon have six million. She used to talk about hair and clothes in her videos, give makeup tips and a few for life too. Then she wanted to make music and rapped really crazy good, among other things on a song about arrest warrant. Their second, fantastic album “Bitches need Rap” was released on Friday by Universal. A conversation about the change of power in the men’s hip-hop genre, going to the opera and a career like a mood board.
