A Twitter account following the burning of Shiba Inu coins, Shibburn, which has been very involved with the crypto community, was unexpectedly suspended. The suspension gained attention as the account’s owner attempted to reach out to Elon Musk and Twitter’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, for help and a resolution.
The Shibburn account has received a lot of attention from the crypto community for its contributions and updates related to SHIB, especially regarding burn rates.
Shibburn said Twitter determined that its app violated its rules and policies. It also said It’s a good idea to send them an email that provides more information. They were also frustrated trying to submit a support ticket because the form didn’t appear.
The sudden suspension baffled the crypto community, with many questioning the transparency and consistency of Twitter’s moderation process.
This isn’t the first Twitter account to be suspended. As recently as June 19, Twitter suspended an account of an artificial intelligence-powered bot linked to the popular coin “Explain This Bob” after Elon Musk accused it of being a “scam crypto account.”
