The guide aims to provide insight into the future of the project, formally introduce new partnerships, and plans for further decentralization.
Kusama also announced that the Shiba Inu team has teamed up with Champion Apparel to produce merchandise, led by Team Shibacals and marked by the use of authentication tags and NFC chips for the first time. He also discussed the community hoodie design contest. which is open for submissions until June 28
Shiba Inu leaders also introduced “Shibacals: Authenticated Collectibles,” a new concept within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The authentication layer for collectibles uses an NFC chip to digitally authenticate physical items. The aim is to increase the value of these collectibles. And according to Kusama, a prototype is currently in testing.
Moreover, Kusama has stated that the Shibarium, a layer-2 blockchain within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, is nearing completion. However, it is unclear when the mainnet launch of the project will take place.
