Anyone who meets Deva Bhusha for the first time may already be hugged after the conversation. She loves to be touched and she loves touching others – emotionally and physically. Bhusha is in her mid-50s, wears large chains, a piercing in her nose and her dreadlocks are pinned up. She has been giving tantric massages in Munich and the surrounding area for many years and helping people with disabilities live out their sexuality. The so-called sexual accompaniment legally falls under prostitution, but it is more than that. Bhusha always calls her customers guests. A conversation about the role compassion plays in their work, why some men prefer to go to sex workers rather than therapy and why their work is completely normal for them.
