The series “Sex/Life” will not be continued. The Netflix streaming service is ending the TV show after two seasons, as has now become known.
Netflix is ending drama series Sex/Life after two seasons. According to The Hollywood Reporter. The decision comes five weeks after the release of the second season, which consists of six episodes. The first season had eight episodes. Three weeks ago, leading actress Sarah Shahi (43) allegedly signed for a new project called “Judgment”.
Second season started in March
The US industry portal, citing internal Netflix data, reports that the second season of “Sex/Life” recorded 126.8 million hours of watch time from March 2 to March 26 worldwide. That’s a drop of about 45 percent from 232.79 million hours over a similar period for season one.
In addition to Sarah Shahi, Adam Demos (37), Mike Vogel (43) and Cleo Anthony (42) can also be seen in “Sex/Life”. Inspired by BB Easton’s book 44 Chapters About 4 Men, the series is “about a woman’s love triangle, her husband and her past, and takes a provocative look at female identity and lust,” according to Netflix.
