Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis celebrate “their” series on Instagram: “Sex and the City” premiered 25 years ago.
25 years ago, the first episode of “Sex and the City” flickered across the screens. The main actresses celebrate their anniversary on Instagram – everyone except Kim Cattrall (66).
This is how Cynthia Nixon posted (57) two pictures of her role as Miranda Hobbes – past and present. The actress writes, “How it started, how it’s going for Miranda Hobbes.” Reflecting on the show’s huge success and the years that have passed, Nixon said, “I can’t believe that ‘Sex and the City’ premiered 25 years ago today. Before the show, I never imagined that something so big and Beautiful things could happen. And now I can’t imagine life without it. I know it means a lot to many of you, so thanks for watching.”
Sarah Jessica Parker speaks of “golden memories”
Sarah Jessica Parker (58), aka Carrie Bradshaw, did not let the date go unmentioned. She posted a picture of the gold “Carrie” necklace, which the main character of the series often wore. SJP writes: “It’s our silver anniversary but the memories will be gold forever.”
Kristin Davis (58), who plays Charlotte York, remembers with a reel to the seasons of the original series: “It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years! I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to be part of this story that connects so many of us. It was and is a PLEASURE! Thank you very much, Thank you for being there. We love you.” Also on the official account of the spin-off “And Just Like That…” one does with a clip on the anniversary attentive.
Kim Cattrall prefers to promote her series
Only one apparently doesn’t waste a post or thought about the cult series: Kim Cattrall. Instead, she used the anniversary day to to advertise their next series “Glamorous” with a trailer.
It was only recently announced that despite all the alleged discrepancies, she will have a small comeback in the second season of “And Just Like That…”. In Germany, the new season can be seen on Sky and the Wow streaming service from June 22nd.
