Very heavy rains fell on Wednesday evening in Lyon and its region. As many images shared by Internet users show, bad weather were impressive. Hailstones, “almost the size of ping-pong balls”

According to Actu.fr, “the quays of the Saône were submerged, the manholes were raised on the slopes of the Croix Rousse”. Despite several dozen interventions by firefighters following these bad weather, no injuries were to be deplored, according to the information site.
