What kind of poisoning it is is currently unclear. In addition to feeling unwell, some of those affected also had discoloration on their fingers and feet. According to initial investigations, everyone had consumed food from a tea kitchen in the building. These were interspersed with an unspecified chemical. The affected building has meanwhile been cleared and the immediate area cordoned off. Rescue workers search the premises for food and beverages to take samples.

What kind of chemical you are dealing with now has to be clarified by means of a chemical analysis, said police spokesman Bernd Hochstädter: “Such analyzes are usually not quick. It will take a while and I don’t think we can do it today can still count on a final result. “
