Several crypto companies have warned their clients over the weekend. After the data breach at Hubspot, the marketing software maker
BlockFi, Swan Bitcoin and Pantera Capital have sent messages to customers warning them that their data may have been accessed. In particular, name and contact information collected for customer relationship purposes. and stored in Hubspot in all cases, with the company stressing that no customer funds were affected.
indeclarationPosted on the Hubspot website, it said: “On March 18, the perpetrators compromised HubSpot employee accounts and used them to access information within about 30 HubSpot accounts.”
“At this time, we believe that this event is targeted towards customers in the cryptocurrency industry,” the company continued. “We have terminated access to compromised HubSpot employee accounts. and has removed the ability for other employees to perform certain actions on the customer account.”
