Seven injured in accident in Ebersberger Forst – Ebersberg

Seven injured, 40,000 euros in damage: This is the result of a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the Ebersberg Forest between Forstinning and Ebersberg. As reported by the police, a 44-year-old driver swerved to the left in a column of vehicles in the direction of Ebersberg “for an unknown reason” and overlooked oncoming traffic. He collided with two oncoming cars, one occupied by four people, the other by one person. Everyone involved suffered minor injuries and was taken to medical facilities by rescue workers, police said. Estimated damage totaling around 40,000 euros was caused to the respective cars.

According to the police, the connecting road between Forstinning and Ebersberg was completely closed for several hours at times. The fire brigades from Ebersberg and Forstinning were deployed with around 42 emergency services. After the rescue work, the roadway was reopened. The person who caused the accident must now answer for negligent bodily harm in road traffic.
