The facts took place late Saturday morning on a traveler’s land in Varces near Grenoble. The driver is said to have argued with another man at first, before trying to run him over. He would then have reversed backwards in the direction of the forty-something and hitting her in turn, specifies The Dauphiné Libéré. Then he would have fled.
