A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. on the state road 2079 in Bavaria: Two people were slightly injured, two cars suffered fatal damage. A 27-year-old from the district of Rosenheim drove his car in the direction of Glonn and got into the oncoming lane in a left-hand bend for unknown reasons. An oncoming 48-year-old driver, also from the Rosenheim district, could no longer avoid it and the collision occurred.
Both drivers were taken to area hospitals for treatment. During the recording of the accident, the police officers found that the 27-year-old’s car was no longer registered and the license plates had been unstamped accordingly. The man is now facing criminal proceedings. The total damage amounts to around 23,000 euros.
