The dead woman is probably the woman who wanted to tell her something about the whereabouts of Lorna’s little daughter. The child was taken away from her 30 years earlier in a “Magdalen Home” – the Catholic Church’s exploitative mother-child facilities, which have sparked one of the world’s biggest church scandals since they were uncovered in Ireland in the late 1990s. A wild, emotional series about trauma.
Secret star: The local myth of the “Wailing Woman” is mentioned again and again, a wailing ghost woman who can only be appeased by brushing her hair.

What’s the matter: Jon Hamm as the brutal sheriff Roy Tillman wants to recapture his ex-wife (Juno Temple), who fled from him years ago. That will be difficult. “Home Alone” in murderous Minnesota, Trump America hits Fargothe fifth season of the series adaptation of the Coen brothers’ classic film.
Secret star: The British actor Sam Spruell, who gives an undead assassin in a kilt his very own language. And for him Fargo Flashback jumps 500 years into the past in a few scenes.

What’s the matter: Alaska during the polar night. The scientists at a research station are found dead in the ice and snow. But since it’s not just dark and cold in the town of Ennis on the outside, Detective Liz Danvers (great: Jodie Foster) and her partner don’t have it easy. Completely different, but no less worth watching than the previous seasons.
Secret star: Kali Reis as Police Officer Evangeline Navarro. As a former professional boxer, she is visually as powerful as the polar night. And is hardly in the shadow of Jodie Foster.

What’s the matter: A late-night telephone call for help regarding domestic violence triggers the reopening of an old murder case – a (black) man has been innocently imprisoned for this for years, and why did he confess to the murder? Did the investigator from back then, an old white man (Peter Capaldi), work cleanly? The detective Cush Jumbo wants to prove that there was a conspiracy at the time, and she doesn’t do without dubious methods.
Secret star: The children of those involved are all fantastic, those of the investigators as well as those of the criminals, they have to suffer when their parents make wrong decisions.

Secret star: Merlin Rose, as Felix Schwarz, seems suspicious from the start: quiet, insecure, but with the potential for scandal. This happened when he disrupted a company meeting in a brass mask. At that point, nothing surprises you anymore.
