Sergio Agüero dreams of a comeback: “In two years? Let’s see!”

In December, Sergio Aguero had to retire due to heart problems. But the Argentine still dreams of a return to the pitch.
More than three months after the involuntary end of his career, Sergio Agüero is dreaming of returning to the football field. “Yesterday I was thinking that I could play again. Inter Miami called me but I said no. In two years? Let’s see,” said Aguero TYC Sports. In any case, the fire blazes in the former top striker. “The doctors told me that I would have to take a break of five or six months, but I want to train again,” he said.
Aguero had had to end his career in December on the advice of his doctors. The Argentine, who was then in the service of FC Barcelona, had previously collapsed on the pitch with heart problems in the league game against Deportivo Alaves at the end of October. “It’s a very difficult moment for me,” Agüero said tearfully at the time, “but I made the decision because of my health. I’m very proud of my career.”

In total, Agüero made 667 competitive appearances for Barca, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Atletico Independiente during his career. He scored 380 goals. The Argentinian experienced his most successful time with the Cityzens in England. Agüero won the English championship five times with the Skyblues and was top scorer in the Premier League in 2015. He also won the Copa America with the Argentine national team last year, but did not play in the final against Brazil.
