The judicial soap opera continues for the two former strongmen of world football. Michel Platini and ex-FIFA president Sepp Blatter have been indicted in Switzerland for several offenses including “fraud”, in the suspicious payment case which has put them out of play since 2015. The information was revealed on Tuesday by the prosecution.
It is now up to the Federal Criminal Court of Bellinzona to validate this indictment and to decide on the holding of a trial against the two former leaders, also prosecuted for “unfair management”, “breach of trust” and “forgery. titles ”.
