Dramatic scenes on the Polish border: Belarus dictator Alexander Lukashenko (67) sent thousands of people from Minsk on Monday morning Sent towards the Polish border.

Lukashenko is currently flying in targeted migrants from Damascus and Istanbul. Most of them now via Moscow – with active help and cover from Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.
Poland has now strengthened the security measures on the border with Belarus again. The spokeswoman for the Polish border guards, Ewelina Szczepanska, said the presence of border guards, police and military at the border had been increased. Poland’s Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak spoke at noon of 12,000 soldiers who were deployed at the border.
The border guard has sent anti-terrorism units to the border with Belarus to reinforce it.
The Polish Ministry of the Interior published several videos of the situation at the border on Twitter on Monday. Attempts to break through the border fences were repeated there – the Polish security forces reacted in part with tear gas and initially pushed the migrants back.
On video recordings from the Belarusian side of the border at noon it could be seen that the border fence to Poland was partially torn down. In its place, Polish security forces with protective shields built a wall, and the Polish authorities also used a helicopter.

The refugees kept shouting “Germany, Germany, Germany” (Deutschland) and tried to get the Polish border guards to be allowed to cross the border. Your dream destination: Germany.
The security forces “fended off the attempt of the first, massive border break and the aggressive, violent entry into the European Union,” said the Polish police in the afternoon.
In the evening, the group, estimated by the Polish government at 3,000 to 4,000 people, pitched tents in the border area and lit campfires. The Polish Ministry of the Interior published a video recorded by a helicopter showing the stranded refugees in their tents. The people have to spend the night there – under the supervision of armed security forces from Lukashenko.
According to media reports, shots could be heard in the dark of the night. Belarusian police are said to have shot in the air as some of the refugees headed back towards Belarus.
▶ ︎ Poland announced that the border crossing in Kuznica, near which the people from Belarus are located, will be closed from Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. Travelers should instead use border crossings in Terespol and Bobrowniki.
“Instrumentalization of migrants is unacceptable”
“Belarus must stop endangering people’s lives. The instrumentalization of migrants for political purposes by Belarus is unacceptable ”, said EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen (63) in a statement on the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border.
