US star Selena Gomez surprised the audience when she walked barefoot into the live broadcast alongside Martin Short.
US star Selena Gomez, 29, took the stage barefoot at the SAG Awards in Santa Monica, California, as she and actor Martin Short, 71, presented the award for Outstanding Female Supporting Actress on Sunday night. Mishap on the red carpet
As reported by “People” magazine and what can also be seen in photos, Gomez had stumbled before her red carpet appearance. A companion helped her up again. Afterward, she ditched her Christian Louboutin heels and took to the stage in her black Oscar de la Renta dress. A special highlight of her look – besides the missing shoes – was the one million dollar Bulgari diamond necklace.
Gomez’s Hulu hit “Only Murders in the Building” was nominated for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Her co-stars Steve Martin (76) and Martin Short each received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series.
Gomez and Short presented the Best Female Actress in a Supporting Role award to West Side Story star Ariana DeBose, 31.
