Seine-et-Marne: a call for witnesses launched after the worrying disappearance of a 20-year-old jogger

It was between 5:45 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. this Friday morning that Chloé, 20, disappeared while jogging in Dammartin-en-Goële, a town of 10,000 inhabitants northeast of Meaux, in Seine- et-Marne, where she lives with her mother.

The gendarmes took this disappearance, which was described as worrying, very seriously. They launched a call for witnesses and dispatched significant resources to the scene. Horsemen from the Republican Guard and dogs from dog teams inspected the area. A military drone and helicopter flew over the scene to scan the town and its immediate surroundings.

“I am involved with the gendarmes to organize the research”, explained this Friday afternoon the mayor Vincent Clavier (DVD) of Dammartin-en-Goële. The missing person lives in a street near the Parc de la Corbie. The park has been cordoned off, located in the village. “I made it available to the gendarmes who needed it for their staff and their equipment”, explains the mayor.

For their part, the gendarmes specify that Chloé is 1.56 m tall, that she is “thin” and wore “a black sleeveless down jacket, a royal blue sweatshirt, black jogging pants and white sneakers”.

Contacted, the public prosecutor of Meaux did not exclude any hypothesis. “She was seen on CCTV footage around 6am. She is used to running early in the morning. She was reported missing by her mother at 10:30 a.m. She did not worry because her daughter after running usually goes to the gym. “According to the magistrate, Chloe was not seen at the gym this Friday morning.

The disappeared would have gone running this Friday morning without any of her “known” cell phones, specified the prosecutor. Which doesn’t mean she didn’t have a cell phone on her. But no certainty on this point either.

The young woman would not suffer from depression and would not have suicidal tendencies. According to our information, she is about to start a job as a carer for the elderly in nursing homes.

This Friday at 7 p.m., Chloe had not been found.

Anyone with information to find the missing person is asked to call the gendarmes at 01.64.14.93.90.
