Russia is recording heavy losses in the war of aggression against Ukraine. NATO is now announcing a new estimate of the extent.

These numbers cannot be independently verified. The Russian side does not provide any precise information about the losses in its own ranks.

At the same time, Stoltenberg appealed to the 32 NATO states to provide more military support for Ukraine. “The situation remains very difficult. Ukraine urgently needs ammunition,” he warned. The NATO Secretary General specifically addressed the Republicans of the designated US presidential candidate Donald Trump, who are currently blocking planned aid from Joe Biden’s government. Every day of delay affects the situation on the battlefield, he said on the sidelines of a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda at NATO headquarters.

Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian war of aggression with Western help for more than two years. Recently, however, the situation at the front was very tense. According to their own statements, the Ukrainian armed forces urgently need further deliveries of weapons and ammunition in order to be able to hold their own against the attackers from Russia.
