The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has rejected a proposal to list and trade shares of the VanEck Bitcoin Trust, marking the third time the regulator has rejected VanEck’s proposal for a spot bitcoin exchange- traded funds (ETFs)
The SEC has rejected several ETFs that offer tracking digital assets. Including VanEck’s previous applications, in June last year and in November 2021 due to concerns about market regulation.
