Sébastien Cauet’s wife proclaims the “innocence” of the host targeted by three complaints

While her husband is the target of three complaints for rape and sexual assault, Nathalie Dartois described the “nightmare” that the host’s loved ones have been experiencing for several weeks.

“He’s not like that.” After Sébastien Cauet on Sunday December 10 on BFMTV, it is the turn of his wife Nathalie Dartois to break the silence and defend the host targeted by three complaints for rape and sexual assault.

“He is devastated, devastated,” she confided on the set of ‘Do not touch My TV‘ on C8. “When we found out about this, Séb told me: ‘If you’re not here Nath, I’m screwed.'”

Just like her husband the day before, she proclaimed the innocence of the historic host of NRJ. “He is innocent (…) I know that Sébastien has never been like that, he is not like that and he will never be like that,” she assured.

She then continued: “He never forced any woman, he could not force a woman, he never violated a woman.”

Cauet, “the first complainant”

Nathalie Dartois, whose husband denounces fabricated “lies”, was keen to point out that Sébastien Cauet was “the first complainant”. “He was the first to file a complaint, so he’s the victim.”

On November 14 and 15, the host actually filed two complaints for “harassment of a person by means of a public online communication service”. A few days later, on November 23, the radio host filed two new complaints for “slanderous denunciation” and “aggravated extortion attempt”.

The complainants accuse him of having raped or sexually assaulted them. One of them assures that Sébastien Cauet raped her twice, the first time in November 2014 when she was a minor, and a second time in 2022. After filing his complaint, a preliminary investigation for rape of a minor over 15 years old and rape was opened on November 18 by the Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office.

Since then, two other complaints have been added. Denying the facts outright, the 51-year-old man speaks of a “media trial” before the investigation is completed.

A situation that affects his loved ones, who stand behind him. “The drama I am experiencing is a storm, it’s a nightmare,” sighed Nathalie Dartois. “We are affecting the honor of a man”, who is a “gentleman”.
