Sebastian Fitzek’s new book “The Invitation” is a horror laugh track

Gagging or grinning? After the satirical book “Parents’ Evening”, a new Fitzek thriller is coming onto the market. “The Invitation” contains more comedy than suspense and, above all, leaves a lot of question marks.

Pervert Edgar Lindberg, a luxury broker by profession, is obsessed with his 14-year-old daughter Marla. In order not to live out his fantasies on her, he collects underage prostitutes from the street to disguise them as Marla. His end comes in the prologue: he gouges out both his eyes and then cuts his throat. Ouch! And welcome to the head of Sebastian Fitzek.
