Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston return to air as Bradley and Alex. What can fans expect from “The Morning Show”?
Secrets, power games, crimes and intrigues: Over two seasons of “The Morning Show” Alexandra “Alex” Levy (Jennifer Aniston, 54) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon, 47) have already fought for and against each other. In season three of the Apple TV+ series, which runs from September 13th, things won’t get any quieter for the two star presenters of the UBA channel.

The trailer for the third season of “The Morning Show” Many fans of the series must have breathed a sigh of relief. Spoiler alert! At the end of the second season, Alex struggled with returning to the public eye after the death of Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell, 61). But now she is showing herself to be combative again: The presenter is demanding more power in the station. And she wants to reveal secrets…
Alex also appears in the trailer with a new star of the series: Jon Hamm (52), known from “Mad Men”. In “The Morning Show” he plays Paul Marks, a rich entrepreneur who apparently has his sights set on the UBA station. Reese Witherspoon already revealed that Hamm is playing a “very complex character” in the new season. “He’s a media mogul and he makes Billy Crudup sweat, which I think is also the funniest part.” Hamm is “a great counterpoint” to Crudup, Witherspoon said to Deadline in August 2022. She joked: “It’s Alien vs. Predator.”
Who does Bradley love?
Billy Crudup (55) as Cory Ellison naturally returns in the new episodes, as does Julianna Margulies (57) as Laura Peterson. It will therefore be exciting to see what happens next with Bradley’s love life: Laura has invited Bradley to go into Corona quarantine with her in Montana. But Cory then surprisingly declared in the season finale that he was in love with Bradley… Your reaction is still pending. However, Bradley definitely seems to have problems in the new episodes. “I made a mistake, but I’m going to fix it,” she explains in the season three trailer.
Apple TV+ announced in advance the content of the third season of “The Morning Show”: When a tech titan became interested in UBA, the channel’s future was called into question. “Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both inside and outside the newsroom.”
Season three of “The Morning Show” is going to be romantic
Jennifer Aniston told People magazine about the new episodes: “Everyone gets into trouble. Everyone has a secret.” It will be “more sensual” this year, she added. Reese Witherspoon also said during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” in January 2023: “I have to say, there’s a lot of romance this year.”
The ten episodes of season three won’t be the last for “The Morning Show.” Apple has already given the green light for a fourth season.
